The Guild of Letting and Management

The Guild of Letting and Management and Gas Safe Register join forces to raise gas safety awareness

The Guild of Letting and Management Ltd and Capita who operate the Gas Safe Registration scheme are pleased to announce a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been agreed between the two organisations to promote gas safety awareness to consumers, landlords, tenants and the rental property sector.

Commenting on this initiative, Susie Crolla, Chief Executive:

“Over the last seven years we have been extremely supportive of the Gas Safe Register and the good work that the organisation has carried out. We feel that compliance is at the forefront of a great many letting agents who are very diligent in the way they approach their business – they are vigilant in the way they work, they take care about which third parties they work with and we feel honoured to work with letting agents who take their professional diligence very seriously. The Gas Safe Register has been an asset to our organisation – we have worked closely with them and have therefore been able to provide our clients with up to date information, knowledge and expertise. The relationship moving forward will continue to add to the benefits we provide our clients.”

Representing the Gas Safe Register, Abrar Hussain Aziz. Stakeholder Manager:
“Gas Safe Register is the official list of gas engineers who are qualified to work safely and legally on gas appliances. By law, all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register. It replaced CORGI. Only use a Gas Safe registered engineer to fit, fix or service your appliances and always check the engineer’s Gas Safe Register ID card."

“We are delighted to be working with The Guild of Letting and Management Ltd (GLM). Over the last few years we have worked on a number of initiatives and now want to progress our relationship so we can communicate our key messages throughout the year to both GLM members and stakeholders."
