gas safety week

How can you get involved and support Gas Safety Week?

Gas Safety Week will take place from 10th - 16th September 2012.  The aim of the week is to raise awareness of gas safety and the importance of taking care of your gas appliances.

There are many ways that you can get involved in Gas Safety Week and we have created various free tools to help you.

Why not undertake some local activity in your area to help people stay gas safe. Not sure where to start? Here are a few ideas to help you out...

  • Distribute leaflets and display posters - these could be distributed to your customers or why not ask to display some at your local doctors surgery, community centre or library.

  • If you have friends and family on Facebook or a following on Twitter, why not use a few of our ready make updates to help spread the gas safety message.

  • Hold a local event. Are you a Gas Safe registered engineer? Why not get together with other local engineers and hold an event to raise awareness of gas safety?

  • Send your local newspaper or parish paper an article on gas safety.
