Organisations supporting our campaign and spreading the
word about gas safety

Gas Safe Register would like to say a big thank you to
those organisations that are supporting the 'Better Gas Safe than
Sorry' campaign. Their support is making a huge
difference in getting important gas safety messages out
to the public.
Aaron
Services: Are placing articles
in newsletters reaching 50,000 households.
Aspire
Housing: Will
be distributing 5,000 leaflets to all of their
tenants.
Blackpool Coastal Housing:
More that 7,000 leaflets distributed to various groups within the
area such as students, tenants and homeowners. Their website has
also been updated to support the campaign and an article has been
placed in their magazine that goes out to all tenants.
Child Accident Prevention
Trust: Have placed an article in their
eNewsletter which has been distributed to 22,000
people.
Citizen's
Advice: Will be placing an
article in their newsletter which will be distributed to
their 700 bureaux accross the UK.
CoGDEM: Sourced
and donated 50 carbon monoxide alarms for Gas Safe Register’s
competition to win a carbon monoxide alarm.
Dyson
Insulations: Have distributed leaflets, placed
advertorial in newspapers, added information to their website and
are mentioning the importance of using a Gas Safe registered
engineer on their radio advert.
Gillies Gas
Services: Have agreed to deliver 20,000 leaflets,
are placing the 'Better Gas Safe than Sorry' message on their
new radio advert and have included information on their
website about the campaign.
Glasgow City
Council: Have placed an advert in their
newsletter reaching 3,500 staff and will also include the campaign
in all other council publications.
Hampshire Buy With
Confidence Scheme Directory: Have
included an advert in their directory which goes out to 30,000
homes and organisations. The directory is distributed to members of
the public as well as community groups, libraries and organisations
that work with vulnerable people.
Kinetics:
Will distribute 200,000 leaflets nationwide over the next
year following completed landlord checks.
LACORS:
Have placed detailed information on their website about the
campaign and all LACOR members can request literature from Gas Safe
Register.
ROSPA:
Have placed detailed information about gas safety and the
campaign on their website as well as the video of Anne's story.
Weaver Vale Housing Trust:
Have added an article about the campaign in their magazine which
will be distributed to over 6,000 homes. They will also be
sending leaflets to tenants, placing posters in offices
and putting information on their website.
West Lothian Contracts Building
Maintenance: Are delivering 12,000 leaflets to
tenants, placing information in their council newsletter reaching
more than 20,000 people and have information on their
servicing appointment card with instructions to check engineers
qualifications.
