Do you need to find someone to install a gas
meter?
When a gas meter is installed, the engineer must have the
appropriate level of competence and must also be registered
with Gas Safe Register. In addition to these requirements, the
engineer/organisation must be registered with Ofgem as an Ofgem
Approved Meter Installer (OAMI) for the appropriate category of
meter works (COP1a, COP1b and COP1c) - this excludes Northern
Ireland. A
